Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

TunnelFleet ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our VPN server management platform and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Name, email address, and password when you register
  • Organization name and billing contact details
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

Usage Data

  • Server provisioning activity and configuration settings
  • IP addresses used to access the platform
  • Browser type, device information, and pages visited
  • Timestamps of actions performed within the platform

Server Data

  • Server metadata you provide (hostname, IP, provider)
  • Protocol configuration and connection logs generated by your servers
  • SSH keys stored for server provisioning (encrypted at rest)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • To process transactions and manage your subscription
  • To provision and manage VPN servers on your behalf
  • To send account-related communications (billing receipts, security alerts, service updates)
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Payment processors — Stripe processes payments on our behalf and is governed by their own privacy policy
  • Infrastructure providers — Only the minimum information required to provision servers on your chosen VPS provider (which you configure yourself)
  • Law enforcement — When required by valid legal process

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, retained for up to 7 years).

Server logs and provisioning history are automatically purged 90 days after a server is removed from the platform.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
  • SSH keys encrypted using AES-256 before storage
  • Regular security audits and dependency monitoring
  • Role-based access controls for team members

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tunnelfleet.com.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics, when used, are privacy-focused and do not track individual users across sites.

8. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with services you configure (e.g., DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr). Your relationship with those providers is governed by their respective privacy policies. TunnelFleet only transmits the data necessary to perform actions you initiate.

9. Children's Privacy

TunnelFleet is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect.
